Located on Ketchikan's main road through town, Thomas Street Vacation Rentals is on Ketchikan's second largest boat
harbor. In fact our building, and all of Thomas Street, is on pilings over the water. Thomas Street is a stop on
the Ketchikan Walking Tour, and is just five minutes by foot from downtown shopping, the visitor center, museums, galleries
and many major attractions. You can walk almost anywhere most visitors want to go, but, just in case, the municipal
bus stops 15 feet from the front door.
We are one block from historic and colorful Creek Street, Ketchikan's former Red Light District, and from Ketchikan
Creek, where you can watch salmon by the thousands migrate up stream to spawn--an incredible sight!
Another block away you'll find galleries, gift shops, two major museums, the very popular Great Alaskan Lumberjack
Show, a wide variety of excellent restaurants and lots of shopping.
In addition, unlike many Ketchikan B&Bs, ours is on level ground at sea level--no hills or stair streets to climb.
That's why we call ourselves the most conveniently located B&B in Ketchikan.
We have two rental units, each of which can accommodate up to four adults depending on sleeping arrangements--or families
of four or more. Each unit has kitchen or kitchenette facilities, private bath and either a private or semi-private entrance. Both
units have phones with free local calls, color TV with cable, wireless internet, and are fully stocked with kitchen
& cooking utensils, microwave oven, coffee maker, fridge and either a full stove or a gridle plate. Of course all bedding
and towels are provided.
Continental plus breakfast is included in our rates, except for long term stays. Your hosts live in the same building
and personnally maintain your units and restock your foods daily. Yet your units are separate from our living quarters to
provide for your privacy and independence. We may be able to provide transport to or from our location by prior
arrangement depending on our work schedules.
